Individuals and churches in our network are finding a variety of ways to respond to the stories and images we’ve been hearing and seeing over the past few weeks.

One member of the Baptist Collaboration facebook group has gathered 250 offers of housing for refugees from churches in the Baptist network.

Krish Kandiah produced this short film summarizing some of the things we can do:

2,000 people gathered in Bristol on Saturday 12th September to declare that refugees are welcome in the city.

Now Lynn Green, General Secretary of our Union, has joined a call for two bodies to be created to enable a co-ordinated response to the crisis.

In addition, this Baptist Times article provides links to a prayer you can use in church, and some of the organisations churches can give to to support refugees from Syria.

If you’d like to share your church’s response to the Syrian Refugee Crisis with our network, please get in touch.
