Operation Restoration works with street children in Bolivia who are often addicted to sniffing glue.They take them into a boys or girls orphanage and care for, nurture, and share faith with them. Minchinhampton Baptist Church are celebrating 25 years of this work which they have supported on Sunday 6th November, and they’d like to extend an invitation to others to join them on this special day which will include input from Roger Hulford of Operation Restoration and also Gavin Calver of the Evangelical Alliance.
The action-packed Sunday 6th November at MBC will go like this:
10:00 Together@10 is a brunch event in The Hub and Roger will be speaking for 5 minutes to the MBC church family about the work in Bolivia
11:00 The main service at Tetbury Street will include Gavin Calver (director of Mission/England for The Evangelical Alliance) preaching and he will be continuing in the planned sermon series (1 Samuel). Includes simultaneous coverage in Café Church
12:30 Invitation to everyone from MBC and friends and supporters from other churches to a bring and share lunch in The Hub
13:00 Meeting to celebrate the 25 years of Operation Restoration including worship and prayer and testimony combined with illustrated talk from Roger Hulford on the work in Bolivia with children and young people living on the streets of Santa C Cruz (finishing by approx. 3 pm)
So a warm invitation to friends, supporters and churches to join in with MBC in the celebration on that day.
