45 churches were represented at our online Summer Gathering and AGM on the evening of Monday 12th July 2021, which was held on Zoom.
Thank you to everyone who made the effort to be there online once again and in particular to all those who contributed to the gathering, both on screen, behind the scenes and in our prayers together.
Our theme was Empowering Missional Disciples and we celebrated stories of how our partnership in the gospel is helping to empower missional disciples in a whole host of different contexts in the West of England, in particular through Home Mission Giving.
We were also delighted to welcome our new trustees Ros Durrant, Paul Rhodes, Sue Woodley and Todd Nightingale.
Former Baptists Together President Yinka Oyekan spoke on our theme and reminded us that “There has not been a moment in history, when the mission of God has not been at the centre of God’s purposes”.
